Wire wrapping a ring using a Slider Bead

Wire wrapping is so much fun and so easy to do, not to mention a wonderful way to  use up a "loner" bead that might just have laying around! For this tutorial, I'm going to go, step by step on how this ring was created!
First grab up some wire, a slider bead and a highlighter, yes, that's what was used to keep it round and approximately the size I was after.  Then cute a long piece of wire, I would say about 2-3 feet, and leave a tail on the one end and spin through all 4 holes as shown.

Okay, now we have a start to a finalized ring, sorry, I couldn't find the image with the highlighter in the center, but I'm sure you get the idea.  Here's another shot of the ring...notice the long tails, which were cut to make it easier to do the wrapping.

Then, simply WRAP!One side and then the other...ahh..there's the sneaky highlighter.

I took a smaller piece of scrap and wired up the back as well, this held all the wire into place.  But, it's all very simple and a great first time beader project!
